ROLE OVERVIEW

The Email Marketing Team plays a key role in supporting the Migraine World Summit year-round, with the workload varying based on time of the year. From June to January, volunteers create weekly emails that summarize key points from the previous March’s expert interviews. In the two months leading up to the Summit, emails become more frequent and focus on promoting the event, engaging our audience, and welcoming new subscribers.During the Summit, daily emails highlight each day’s events and guide viewers through the content.Post-Summit, emails help maintain engagement and transition smoothly back to the regular weekly cadence in June.Typically, one team member drafts an email based on a 30-minute interview transcript using a set format. A second team member reviews and edits the draft to ensure clarity, accuracy, and polish.
