The Migraine World Summit is an annual live event that is held each year in March, for free. It provides an opportunity to improve patients’ and caregivers’ understanding of migraine & headache disorders by providing access to 30+ leading migraine experts, doctors and specialists from around the world.Our mission is to reduce the global burden of migraine. By giving access to many of the world’s top experts, the shared information can be discussed with the patient’s healthcare professionals to improve their health and wellness.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Web Publishing team ensures that content is accurately and attractively presented on our website. Team members use CMS platforms like WordPress—often with visual builders such as Divi or Elementor—to publish new content, duplicate pages, and troubleshoot minor issues. This role is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proactive, with a helpful and responsive approach to assisting others with basic technical support. No high-level coding required.This role is ideal for someone who is:
  • Confident using CMS platforms (WordPress or High-Level preferred) and visual page builders (Divi or Elementor preferred)
  • Comfortable adding new content, duplicating pages, and handling light troubleshooting
  • Proactive, independent, and tech-savvy
  • Patient, helpful, and responsive when assisting members with tech support

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Website Updates
    • Duplicate and build new pages using WordPress templates
    • Add speaker and event content (images, bios, videos)
    • Add new products in MemberMouse
    • Set up and test pages & offers using Deadline Funnel
    • Perform cross-device and browser testing
  • Member Support:
    • Monitor and respond to technical support tickets (via Chat Support, e.g., via a live customer chat and messaging platform)
    • Help members with login issues, password resets, and access questions
    • Troubleshoot basic user errors and escalate advanced cases
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Attend weekly or bi-weekly virtual meetings
    • Communicate clearly with team members about progress and blockers
    • Work independently while maintaining reliable availability

Overview

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (helpful, but not required)

  • Solid experience with WordPress, High-Level and visual page builders (Divi & Elementor ideal)
  • Familiarity with MemberMouse or similar membership platforms
  • Understanding of Deadline Funnel or similar, or the ability to learn quickly
  • Prior use of customer help desk tools for customer chat and messaging services
  • Basic troubleshooting and QA testing abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation habits
  • Personal or lived experience with migraine (a big plus!)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Location: Remote / Flexible
  • Part-time: ~4-6 hours/week
    • Some weeks may require more hours during the live event period (March)
  • Duration: December onboarding; most active January–March
